Today TAYplan has launched its 2014 Customer Survey.

We will use your responses to help us understand how you rate our customer service. It will also help us when we plan consultation and other events and activities.

The questionnaire is annonymous and can be filled in electronically. It should take about 10 minutes to complete.

The deadline for completing the questionnaire is Monday 8 December 2014.

TAYplan has scooped an award for community involvement at the prestigious Scottish Awards for Quality in Planning.

TAYplan received the accolade for community involvement thanks to its engagement with young people through schools workshops and the appointment of young place makers. TAYplan’s work and commitment to the youth camp was given specific recognition by the judges. TAYplan undertook all of its engagement work with support from Planning Aid Scotland (PAS).

THE VOICE of future of land use in the TAYPlan area has been heard at the highest levels after a group of young people met with the minister responsible.

TAYplan’s eight “Young Placemakers” shared their ideas with Derek Mackay, Minister for Local Government and Planning at the Scottish Parliament.

The young enthusiasts have been ambassadors for the way the Dundee and Perth City Regions should change over the next 20 years working with TAYplan to encourage people to get involved and have their say.

This week

TAYplan will be hosting the final community drop-in event of the Main Issues Report consultation in Dundee.

We will be at the Marryat Hall within Caird Hall, City Square, Dundee from 11:30am until 4:30pm this coming Saturday (7 June).

The entrance to Marryat Hall is by the very right hand side of Caird Hall (looking from City Square).

All are welcome - why not come along and chat to the team about how we can best plan for the future of our places.
